"Minato Arisato – a Card of the Fool Arcana – had been one of the members of Jessiah Vice’s original blade. He had died at the age of 16 in the Clock Tower, sacrificing his life in order to use his own soul as a seal against Nyx’s re-awakening, something that the Watcher in the Dark had been trying to push for in 2009. Many had believed that his soul was unreachable, and that even if a way to save him could be found, it might end up undoing the very thing that he had given up his life for. When it became evident, however, that his soul was intimately tied to David Young’s (David had ended up inheriting Diurmund, Minato’s Persona), David and the rest of his comrades in Wolf’s Choice worked towards finding a way to recover Minato from the Forgotten Shore. They drew his spirit away from the Shore, and Aidan Clayce tethered him to a new mortal body in 2012, giving Minato a third shot at life. Many felt that given everything that Minato had given up for the Fifth World, this was just what he deserved."
